Mandatory Fields (Patron Window)
Patron First Name
Checking this box means that the patron's first name must be entered before a patron record can be saved.
Patron Last Name
Checking this box means that the patron's last name must be entered before a patron record can be saved.
Patron Company
Checking this box means that the patron's company must be entered before a patron record can be saved.
Patron Address
Checking this box means that the patron's address must be entered before a patron record can be saved. Only one out of the two address lines need to contain information.
Patron City
Checking this box means that the patron's city must be entered before a patron record can be saved.
Patron Province
Checking this box means that the patron's province must be entered before a patron record can be saved.
Patron Postal Code
Checking this box means that the patron's postal/zip code must be entered before a patron record can be saved.
Area Codes on all Phone Numbers
Checking this box means that the all of the patron's phone numbers must have area codes entered before a patron record can be saved.
Marketing Fields 1 - 5
Checking these boxes means that each the patron's respective marketing fields must be filled in before a patron record can be saved.
Mandatory Fields (Payment Window)
Cheque Approval Number
*Cheque payment only* This field will insure that the cheque number must be entered at time of payment.
Why Did Patron Buy
Checking this box means that before a payment can be finalized the user must select the reason that the patron has made a purchase. The why did patron buy field is a drop down list that is found on the payment window. The values listed in why did patron buy can be customized. Refer to Reasons to Buy in Code Tables for more information.
Default Data on Patron Insert
Area Codes
Checking this box will ensure that a default Area Code will be supplied when a new patron is inserted. The Area Code is taken from the phone number field under the Company Tab of Default Data.
City
Checking this box will ensure that a default City will be entered into the City field when a new patron is inserted. The City is taken from the city field under the Company Tab of Default Data.
Province
Checking this box will ensure that a default Province/State will be entered into the Province/State field when a new patron is inserted. The Province/State is taken from the Province/State field under the Company Tab of Default Data.
Postal Code
Checking this box will ensure that a default Postal/Zip Code will be entered into the Postal/Zip Code field when a new patron is inserted. The Postal/Zip Code is taken from the Postal/Zip Code field under the Company Tab of Default Data.
Membership ____ Months until Expiry
The number that is entered into this field signifies the number of months that a membership from your company is good for. If the number is set to 12, when a patron purchaces a membership, the membership expiry date will automatically default to 12 months later.
Data Editing
Disable Postal Code Edits
If selected, the program will not validate a Countries Postal/Zip code requirements.

If selected, the program will not validate a countries telephone number requirements.

Auto Capitalize
Controls Theatre Manager's ability to set mixed case letters during entry and reduces the necessity to use the shift key. You can choose several methods to control this process.
Never CapitalizeRemoves this option by always accepting exactly what is entered.
First Time
Capitalizes the first letter of data entered into a field the first time it is entered. When the field is edited, the changes will be saved as entered.
Except For <Option> <Tab>
Capitalizes the first letter of any word entered into a field unless the option key is held down when the <Tab> is used to move into the next field. When the <Option> key is depressed, and the <Tab> is used to move to the next field, the data is recorded as entered.
Except For <CTRL> click
Capitalizes the first letter of any word entered into a field unless the <CTRL> key is held down clicking is used to move into the next field. When the <CTRL> key is depressed, and the click is used to move to the next field, the data is recorded as entered.Always Capitalize

Employee Access Management
Logon Window
Select the level of security window to be used for logging into Theatre Manager.
No Logon SecurityNo security. Requires no logon. All employees of the system have full access to all the capabilities of Theatre Manager.
Show List of Employees
Medium security. Requires the employee to select a valid name from a displayed list of employees and enter in a password. The employee will only access the capabilities assigned to the employee name.
Access ID/Password
Maximum security. Requires the employee to enter in the employee access ID and password, given no hints or information about valid employee ID's. The employee will only access the capabilities assigned to the employee ID.
Logoff Timeout
The number of minutes after which a employee is automatically logged off Theatre Manager if there is no activity from the employee.
