Changes in Version 4.29 - June 1999

If you using version 4.10 or earlier, please read the notes about version 4.11 first. You must have V4.11 or later to install this upgrade.

Note: The mail list counts will be verified during the upgrade process so it could take a while to upgrade the database.

Form Letters

• The Print Unprinted Letters has been updated to allow previously printed letters to be reprinted based on a date range.
• Deleting a letter will now delete all references of the letter that are attached to a patron's correspondance history.

Orders

• There is a new button on the order window that shows only the transactions related to the order that has been selected. The transaction window is very similar to the transaction window off the patron screen -- it just filters one order automatically.
• When opening the order window, the most recent order is autlomatically selected.

Selling tickets

• When selling thickets, the screen was changed so that ALL price codes can be accessed via a keystroke equivalent.
  • On the Mac, pressing Apple-option-price code will select the price code.
  • On the PC, pressing Command-ALT-price code does the same thing.
• There is no a limit to the number of tickets that will be retrieved for the patron window at any one time. If the limit is reached, the user is asked if they wish to see more records. The limit is set to 300 for each user during the upgrade. The limit can be changed by each individual user throuhg the 'preferences window'

Plays & Dates

• A bug was fixed in the plays and dates window where if the play code was changed, it was not properly reflected on each individual performance record. The data field is corrected automatically during the upgrade.
