System Entities

Change the system entities to reflect the nomenclature for your company or to the public perception of the facility. For example, an event for a venue may be a 'Play' in a 'Theatre' or a 'Game' in an 'Arena'.

Examples

Patron: Customer, Personnel: Volunteer, Donation: Sponsorship, Media: Press, Venue: Theatre

Marketing Fields

There are five user defined marketing fields. The first two are numeric and the second two fields are character and the last is alphabetic. Type inside each field to change the name displayed on the patron window. For example, if children's programming is offered, you could use the numeric fields to track the year that the oldest and youngest children were born.

 

Date and Time Formatting 

Date Format

The date format changes how dates are displayed throughout Theatre Manager. The default is 'm D y'. Valid letter codes are:

Year Codes: Y (00), y (2000)

Century Code: C (20)

Month Codes: M (06), m (JUN), n (June)

Day Codes: D (12), d (12th)

Day of Week: W (5), w (Friday), V (Fri)

For example, you can make the date format as 'CY/D/M' to view dates in the format '2000/19/05'.

 

Time Format

The time format changes how times are displayed throughout Theatre Manager. The default is 'h:N A'. Valid letter codes are:

Hour Codes: h (0..12 - 12 hour format), H (0..23 - 24 hour format)

Minute Codes: N

Second Codes: S (seconds), s (hundredths of seconds)

AM/PM: A

For example, you can make the time format as 'h:N A' to view the time in the format '7:30 PM' or as 'H:N' to view the time in the format '19:30'.
