The Corporate Donation Giving Level code table provides the breakpoints and names for the various giving levels associated with donations. Enter the lowest value of the giving level range as a Look Up value and the name associated with it as a Result. The range is established by the start values (lowest value) for the giving level entered.
When a donation amount is entered in the donation window, the corresponding giving level is automatically displayed. Only the Lookup value for the giving range is maintained on the donation record. The Result values are not stored. If the Result values are edited for any Lookup Values, the updated information will be displayed correctly.
Separate code tables exist for corporate and individual donation giving levels.

Inserting a New Giving Level
The entry of Corporate Giving Level window will appear.

The giving threshold is the lowest donation amount given to receive a giving level. This number shoul be entered with the other Giving Thresholds in mind. Eg. There may be a threshold value of $100.00 and another of $500.00. Try adding a new threshold of $300.00, or maybe $1000.00.
This value is the result value, which is the name given to identify a patron's gift in reflection of the Giving Threshold values. Bronze, Silver, and Gold are examples of giving levels. Bronze being the lest amount, Gold being the greatest.
The new Giving Level is now saved.
